Blockchain research papers at IJERS should define the problem (scalability, security, supply chain traceability, etc.), specify platform (Ethereum, Hyperledger), document smart contract or protocol design, present experimental benchmarks (TPS, latency, gas cost), and compare with baselines. Pure conceptual whitepapers without evaluation rarely pass peer review.
